Type of Brief
Although the information we ask for from the questions in the debrief below are more relevant to "people tracing" and "asset tracing", some of the answers you can provide are also useful for briefing us on other types of work. E.g.: Corporate due diligence, dossier compilation, obtaining of discrediting information, discovering the true beneficiaries behind offshore companies and many other assignments. In these cases you will need to brief us differently, although we will always ask for relevant background information.

Size of brief.
We do not expect you to know all, or even most of the information asked for, but the more information you give us, the more efficiently we will complete any given assignment. In most cases you will only have a limited amount of information and require us to discover the rest. e.g.: We are often given the name of a subject and his approximate age or sometimes just his name and where he lived 10 years ago. Sometimes not even a last address. We have then been required to trace the subject, provide details of all his bank accounts with their contents, identify all the properties he owns, obtain details of his shareholdings etc. We have an excellent track record of achieving results even in these circumstances.

It is,therefore, often possible to complete cases successfully even with minimal starting information. There is nothing to lose by asking for a quote, even if every other agency which tried has failed. We are an Intelligence Agency with world-wide contacts and resources, not a Detective agency. This means we have access to information sources you never knew existed. Our intelligence "facilities" are more potent than you may imagine.

Finally, please do not withhold information to "test us", unless you'd like to pay more for doing so. The more starting information you provide, the less work we have to do to go from "A" to "B". And this will result in a lower quote to you.

Simple Briefs
Many of the assignments we are given are short and simple. Although our main assignments comprise legal and corporate work, we keep sharp by using basic work for target practice. This includes a variety of work into telephone records, simple traces and asset traces, acquiring snippets of discrediting information on targets etc. Most of this can be turned round in 24 to 48 hrs if necessary.

Non Standard Briefs.
There will be circumstances where none of the information sought below applies. When this occurs there will be other information you can give us that is more relevant to your particular assignment. If you don't know what is or is not relevant information to brief us with, and all the information we are asking for below is inappropriate to your case, please email or fax us your assignment objectives and a short history of your case and we will email or fax you back with a list of questions as a tailor made "debrief."

False Information.
Please do not intentionally give us misleading reasons for an assignment. This can result in a negative result, as the resources and approach used in solving any case will be based on your brief to us. E.g.: If you tell us the assignment is to trace a friend you lost touch with some years ago (in order to get a lower quote for instance), and the real reason for the trace is to locate a debtor who stole substantial funds from you and went into hiding, the trace will probably fail due to the use of inappropriate tracing techniques and an application of the wrong type of resources. A fugitive trace needs to be tackled in a completely different way to a "lost friend".

We work for you, and no-one else and will do all we can to meet your objectives, with maximum speed and discretion. There is no need to try and mislead us.

Confidentiality.
Rest assured that anything you tell us always remains in the highest confidence. It is not in the interests of our reputation to share or discuss any of our cases with anyone, and we do not.

Quotations.
All quotations for any prospective assignment are free and are based on us succeeding. If we do not succeed there is no charge as we only charge for results. Our success rate has historically varied between 90% to 96% depending on the type of assignment and the starting information given by the client.

You do not have to provide us with specifics (such as names and addresses etc) when asking for a quote - just what you require us to do and how much of the information below you can give us.
