Philip Catt's professional training and early life seemed almost predestined to lie in a progressive management career where Catt had not even the slightest idea that life would soon change, from the management of a Blue Chip Corporation, to the world of Commercial Intelligence. A career that progressively acquired a range of well placed contacts, knowledge, techniques and resources - with commensurate assignments spanning the world.
Events and circumstances propelled him into an industry more suited to the likes of ex-law enforcement, ex-services and ex-"other agency". His background was totally untypical of anyone else in his industry. But this turned out to be a unique strength, not a handicap, demonstrated by the evolution of No Hiding Place Ltd. The only Intelligence agency in the business, that has sufficient confidence in its methods, to Only Charge for Results.
Catt underwent extensive training in his conversion from his "blue chip" career to a completely alien industry. An industry initially unprepared for, but was to be his new home to the present day.
The result: his previous blue chip background gave him the requisite experience of how large business works: its culture, its structure, its environment and its legal problems. 10 years in the intelligence game with assignments from international banks and other financial institutions, household name corporates and top solicitors specialising in litigation, put him in a unique position. A position to not only offer the vital blend of expertise in diagnosis, analysis and modus operandi, in complex intelligence work , but also the blue chip strategic planning background to provide the creativity in solution that is so often needed when "non-standard" problems present themselves. Non-standard problems met by "standard" solutions, by many investigators who know no better.
Philip Catt has just completed his book "No Hiding from Know"-a user friendly treatise aimed at showing busy businessmen all the options they are unaware exist. Options they can use to meet "special" information requirements.
Philip Catt has been on Television and Radio, in a professional capacity, several times. He is on the board of regular contributors for Professional Security Magazine, where his articles appear in every issue.
